Wow, this series of books were amazing, l never read any Chelsea luna books, but l will be reading them again, was sad to see this trilogy end, if you haven't read them, l recommended them highly. A set of books you will want to not put down
This was a great ending to the New England Witch Chronicles series! She has created great characters. This book does not disappoint. It's full of all the surprises and turns that the others have. I would tell myself that I would put the book down at the end of the chapter, but the end of the chapters ALWAYS leave you hanging. I couldn't put it down! I'm going to have to go back and re-read to gather more of the details I missed with reading it so quickly. Sad to see this story end, but I'm looking forward to her next series!
I'm not one to write a book review normally, however I don't feel I can leave without writing something about this series. I have loved reading this series of books. From page one in book one I was completely hooked! What I loved the most about the story line is that, despite the violence and scary Halloween themes, the ultimate storyline is one of pure love, friendship, and sacrifice for others. The theme follows throughout the series. That's not to say this is a mushy story! There were times throughout the series where I had chills and goosebumps, times where I cried, and times were I giggled! I love when a novel or series can take me through a range of emotions and make me connect with the characters. My favorite character in the series was James. I loved his spunk and determination, and his sense of righteousness. I'm definitely going to be reading more of Chelsea Bellingeri's work!
I enjoyed every book in this series...great read if u are into paganism, witches or the supernatural. Strong characters and story line...I will miss the cast but have enjoyed the journey. Being from Massachusetts also lured me in even more since the setting was Massachusetts and new england.👏
The books had some good points. The characters could have been expanded more. They were rather one dimensional. The author improved with each book but the series could have benefited from outside editing to make it a little more cohesive.
This one almost gets the one word review. WOW! Seriously, this series delivers. The first title was a solid, good read and each one that followed only got better. Even though the series is about something paranormal, Ms Bellingeri gives the reader very believable characters and even manages to make the paranormal normal. She is even kind enough ... or maybe that's just because she must be a reader too, that she added an epilogue to ease the loss of running out of time with the characters. If you desire four good books for the beach this summer, then look no further!
When I started the first book of "The New England Witch Chronicles" I wasn't sure I was going to like it, but I decided to give it at least 3 or 4 chapters before I made up my mind because something in the first few pages made me think it might be worthwhile. I'm really glad I did, as the series turned out to be quite good. Each book was stronger than the one before it, and there was enough tension to keep it interesting without it being overwhelming. Alexandria Ramsay is a likable, believable heroine and the book allows for plenty of time for a nice, solid non-instaromance to blossom and grow, friendships to be formed and friendships to fade - all in-between her battles with the forces of evil. While there's little doubt as to the outcome of the final battle, there is a twist to it, and the series closes with a touching epilogue. If you like witchy fiction, this is a good, solid story that I expect you'll enjoy.
